What is Church to you?
It is a place where I can go and be strengthened in
my faith, be challenged to change, be accepted for who I am and see God
as He really is. Church is, for me, God’s Home – a place where
God is God and I am me.
Favorite time of day?
Morning – (when I wake up before my children) I love the quiet of the
morning: sitting with a cup of coffee, reading God’s Word and
contemplating His ways.
Favorite
Book?
Severe Mercy by Sheldon Vanauken. This book moves me every time I
read it.
Favorite things to
do?
Having great conversations with my husband – especially about God and
what He is doing in our lives. Spending time with my family doing
anything and everything.
Have you ever been inside
Buckingham Palace?
Yes, once. After not eating breakfast before attending the
“Changing of the Guards”, I fainted outside the doors and ended up
being carried inside the Palace to recover. I’ve never seen my
husband so happy I skipped breakfast that day.
Have you figured out the
meaning behind the movies: 2001 Space Odyssey, Eraser Head, A Clockwork
Orange? Uh….I’ve never seen any of them. Come to
think about it, I’ve never seen any of the Star Wars movies
either. Wow – what does that say about me?!
How many times were you
suspended from school?
Once. The one time I tried to cut classes, I got
caught. It wasn’t quite the Breakfast Club – but close.
Fast Food or Diner?
It’s Delmonico’s all the way, though my daughter would argue Taco Bell.
Favorite TV Shows?
Any sporting event (especially Yankee games) and 30 Minute Meals with
Rachael Ray – she’s amazing.
